Jose Mourinho has made three changes to his Tottenham starting XI – and handed rare starts to both Michel Vorm and Oliver Skipp for Spurs’ FA Cup fifth-round tie against Norwich City.
The 36-year-old Dutch goalkeeper makes his first appearance for the club in almost 17 months in place of Paulo Gazzaniga, who drops to the bench, whilst Jan Vertonghen returns to captain the side at left-back, but there is no place in the XI for Toby Alderweireld, who is on bench – with Eric Dier picked ahead of the Belgian.
It looks like a three-man midfield with Harry Winks and Skipp sitting behind Giovani Lo Celso, who is likely to play a more advanced attacking role.
Eric Lamela returns to the bench as Mourinho opts for a familiar front-three in the shape of Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura.
Troy Parrott has also been named amongst the substitutes, alongside Gedson Fernandes and record signing Tanguy Ndombele.
Confirmed XI: Vorm, Aurier, Dier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Winks, Lo Celso, Skipp, Lucas, Bergwijn, Alli.
Substitutes: Gazzaniga, Alderweireld, Tanganga, Ndombele, Gedson, Lamela, Parrott.
