Tottenham are considering a summer move for PSV Eindhoven starlet Nawaaz Landfeld, according to the Sun.

Able to play at left-back or centre-back, Landfeld is a regular for PSV’s Under-17s side. He is yet to make his first appearance for the senior team but there are high hopes for the 16-year-old.

And the Sun believes Spurs could raid PSV for the second time in a matter of months to sign Landfeld this summer.

The Londoners lured Steven Bergwijn to north London in the January transfer window, and the Dutchman made an instant impact by scoring against Manchester City on his debut. He has since found the net in a defeat to Wolves and has started every Premier League game since joining.

After strengthening his front line with the addition of Bergwijn, Jose Mourinho’s attentions may now turn to his defence – and left-back could be one of the main priorities.

Ben Davies has failed to impress since returning from an ankle injury, and a fresh hamstring problem has now left Tottenham short again.

Danny Rose will probably move on permanently in the summer, while Ryan Sessegnon’s future might be seen in a more attacking role. With that in mind, Landfeld would be a logical signing.
