Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has picked a Premier League five-a-side team made up of players from other teams, and there is a Tottenham player in there.

Van Dijk picked Son Heung-min as one of his five players for Dutch outlet Voetbal Zone, claiming the Spurs forward can “make a defender’s life hell” on the pitch.

Manchester City trio Ederson, Aymeric Laporte and Kevin de Bruyne and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the other players in the team.

The choice of Son proves something that’s quite evident just from watching the 27-year-old; he is very difficult for defenders to deal with one-on-one because of his dribbling ability and the fact he is able to use both feet with equal quality.

Son was in fine goalscoring form before a broken arm put an end to his campaign, scoring six goals in five games including a brace at Aston Villa, where he suffered the injury.

If the season does get back underway once the ongoing coronavirus crisis is quelled somewhat, Son should be fit enough to play a part.
