Tottenham have offered a contract to Bayern Munich wonderkid Taylor Booth, according to Football Insider.

We relayed a story earlier this month from the Daily Mail that Spurs were interested in both Taylor, and his brother Zach, who currently plays from MLS outfit Real Salt Lake.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side have turned their attentions to the elder of the two, who has been capped by USA up to U19 level.

The 18-year-old, joined the Bundesliga champions in January 2019, before signing a three-year professional contract with the German side at the beginning of this season.

The report from the Insider says that Booth is wanted by a number of Premier League clubs, but Spurs are the first to make contact with the teenager after being impressed with his performance in Munich’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham’s U19s side in the UEFA Youth League – in which he claimed two assists.

Booth, who turns 19 at the end of this month, has featured heavily in Munich’s U19 side, but has aspirations to make the step up to senior football and is unlikely to be given the opportunity by Hans-Dieter Flick.
