Tanguy Ndombele and Jose Mourinho have not spoken since reports emerged claiming the midfielder wants to leave to Tottenham, according to L’Equipe.
Ndombele has endured a difficult first season in the Premier League since joining Spurs from Lyon last summer. The Londoners’ record signing has seen one manager, Mauricio Pochettino, leave and has struggled to make an impact under the current regime.
And the Frenchman’s future remains uncertain, according to reports in France.
L’Equipe, as relayed by Sport Witness, believes Mourinho and Ndombele have not spoken since the player allegedly (again according to L’Equipe and relayed by Sport Witness) told his manager he does not want to play under him anymore.
It is understood Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has intervened by reassuring Ndombele’s representatives that the 23-year-old does have a future at the club, but a strained relationship with Mourinho is clearly an ongoing and potentially harmful problem.
It will be interesting to see if Ndombele is involved in the Everton game on Monday night. He came off the bench at Sheffield United but arguably didn’t do enough to earn a start against the Toffees.
What N’Dimbele didn’t do enough in his cameo appearance? As though the other midfielders did….
Absolutely pathetic remark.
Yes you are right
Pick a position for him , it is obviously in front of a Matic / Fernandinho type midfield protector
Alongside Lo Celso
and play the both of them for at least 6 matches
How are you going to fit in if you don’t play and don’t get used to your midfield partner.
Good players take time to know where their partners are going to be . Once he has confidence then you will see a great player
He is too unfit for the premiere league, but this was known before we spent all that money on him. If Mourinho doesn’t want him then it is because he hasn’t bothered to try and get himself fit enough to play more than one game a week!
You get match fit by playing matches
Quite frankly Ive never seen a player so bad as Kane against Man U
He hasn’t been that much better since
It’s about time these overpaid players must learn they are under contract to play for a club.
Fine him a weeks wages every week until he shows some effort.
If he was not such a bad influence I would put him in the reserves until he changes his atitude
£250 a week is obscene
You talking about Kane
He has been so bad since the return
I wouldnt play him until he is match fit
