Tottenham ran out 1-0 winners over Everton on Monday night thanks to a Michael Keane’s own goal.

In a game of little action, the hosts saw off a toothless Toffees side to move up to eighth in the table.

Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the night.

Hugo Lloris, 6 – Had almost nothing to do bar a couple routine saves.

Serge Aurier, 7 – Offered little going forward but refreshing to see him be constantly alert defensively.

Toby Alderweireld, 6 – A little loose in possession at times but generally solid.

Eric Dier, 8 – Some crucial headers and interceptions made Dier an easy man of the match, showing why he is a Jose Mourinho favourite.

Ben Davies, 6 – Worked hard but was a bit wasteful when he got into advanced areas.

Moussa Sissoko, 6 – Showed his strength throughout but looked a bit lost past the halfway line.

Harry Winks, 6 – Neat on the ball but really quiet in the second half.

Giovani Lo Celso, 6 – Not his usual slick self but was a real battler, throwing himself into challenges.

Lucas Moura, 5 – Tried to make things happen but let down by poor hold-up play.

Son Heung-min, 5 – Did well to get a couple of shots away but he still doesn’t look fully fit.

Harry Kane, 5 – Looked zapped of energy again but helped Spurs see out the win with some experienced play in stoppage time.

Substitutes

Steven Bergwijn, N/A – Barely saw the ball.

Erik Lamela, N/A – Gave Spurs an outlet to hold the ball up late on.

Jan Vertonghen, N/A – Brought on to waste some seconds at the death.

  1. You finally got moura rating right.
Really dont know what he does to get in the team surly would be better as a impact sub.

  2. Presume spurs have already made decision to offload Ndombele when season ends. Desperately need to buy top class creative attacking midfielder, like Bruno Fernandez who we should have bought last summer. Who ever didn’t get that deal done needs moving on or retiring.

  3. Cash in on Harry Kane and Deli Ali if we are sticking with Mourinho. If not bye bye Jose and welcome back Porch.

  4. I know we won but it feels like it did before Poch arrived… An under performing team who don’t look like they are going to do anything more with the current manager. Get Mauricio back, refreshed and ready for phase 2.

  5. Worrying not to see SESSENGNON on the bench…..we desperately need a second striker or no pl title as Kane will always be marked out hardly touched the ball in goalthreat zones

  6. the last year we have gone backwards,we must re build from top to bottom, younger manager ,younger team,a new chairman,a new outlook even if this takes 2 yearswith a new project

  7. First of all ENIC going nowhere anytime soon. On the question of Sessegnon, my Fulham friends were happy with the £25mil the got for him as he won’t make it. As above, sometimes you have to sell to improve as per Liverpool with Coutinho. The problem we face is that Kane does not last a whole season and Dele has been woeful most of the time. We have regressed to maybe being on of the best of the rest maybe.
