Tottenham’s Dele Alli has returned to training ahead of Spurs’ final Premier League game of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who has played just 77 minutes since the restart, has missed the previous four matches with a hamstring injury that he sustained in the defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Alli has a history of hamstring injuries in recent seasons which started during the 2018 World Cup and will be hoping to return at Selhurst Park – the ground on which he scored that spectacular individual goal during the 2015-2016 campaign – although it’s unclear whether he’ll be fit enough to face the Eagles.
Jose Mourinho will speak to the press ahead of the clash in south London and will no doubt confirm Alli’s availability as Spurs looked to record a fourth consecutive Premier League victory to improve their chances of playing European football next season.
Elsewhere, Juan Foyth, who has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Leeds United also trained.
