On Monday morning, we relayed conflicting reports regarding the future of Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Guardian claims there have been talks with Inter over the sale of the 23-year-old, but the London Evening Standard and Sky Sports (Transfer Centre, 9:01am) believe Spurs have no intention of selling their record signing this summer.

While many will be happy to see Ndombele stay and have another go at settling in the Premier League, some might be tempted by rumoured interest in a pair of Inter players who could move the other way.

The Guardian’s report suggests a swap deal involving Slovakian centre-back Milan Skriniar is a possibility. Tottenham need more depth in defence after Jan Vertonghen’s exit, so that makes sense.

The story goes on to say Spurs are tracking Croatia international Ivan Perisic, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich – where he is currently on loan. Jose Mourinho is said to a long-term fan of Perisic, who would certainly be a useful addition to the attack.

Would you swap Ndombele for Skrinar and Perisic? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Agree with Ray. Total nonsense.
We are getting Hojbjerg so Ndombele can play a bit more freely and forward. Its a dynamic double pivot for Spurs.
