Juventus are ‘ready’ to make a move for Tottenham star Giovani Lo Celso, according to reports in Italy.

After a slow start due to injury under Mauricio Pochettino, Lo Celso became a regular in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up last term and was among Spurs’ most consistent performers over the course of the campaign.

With that in mind, Mourinho will have no intention of letting the Argentine go – but that apparently won’t prevent Juventus from trying.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims Juventus were tracking Lo Celso before he left Rosario Central for Paris Saint-Germain, and the Serie A champions are now said to be considering another swoop.

However, the report says Mourinho has labelled Lo Celso not for sale, which is hardly a surprise.

We think there is just about no chance Lo Celso will depart this summer. He is simply too important and could even yet improve after an impressive debut season in England.

The 24-year-old looked slightly less slick on the ball after the Premier League’s restart, presumably because he was carrying a minor injury. Hopefully he is back to his best next term.

  1. Hmmm. I wondering if they are thinking of swapping Lo Celso for Dybala. That would certainly be a headache for the powers that be to make.

    • Do not give an assist to crazy talk. That is an insult to Dybala. He is a wizard in the #10 hole. I would have gone after James Rodriquez who can play at the 10 and across the midfield. Nothing wrong in having the two similar players in Gio and James. James is a bit more creative and a serious threat over a dead ball.

  2. Dybala is worth a lot more than Lo Celso. His wages would also be more than double. I don’t see us being able to attract Dybala without Champions League football. My only concern with Lo Celso is his lack of goals and assists. It’s early days but he doesn’t seem anywhere near as creative as Eriksen. I’m hoping he can greatly improve in this second season. He was very impressive at Real Betis.

  3. Tomorrow we’ll be told that Son is being chased to Bayern Munich, followed by Alli to Liverpool, Bergwin is keen to return to the Netherlands only this time to Ajax, Lucas chased by AC Milan along with Aurier, we already know that Kane is being heavily touted to leave Spurs and join either Manchester United or Manchester City in order to win trophies by the press and pundits alike. Ndombele is reputedly heading to Inter Milan in exchange for some random centre half and I wont be at all surprised if Sanchez’s name is thrown in heading off to PSG. Very recently it was Winks to Manchester City now we hear LoCelco is being chased by Juventus. Basically Spurs will be left with fuck all if you believe all the bullshit in the media and blogs/sheep.

    • Alli to Liverpool? that would be amazing! I’d love to see Spurs sell that lazy sod off. Had a good 18 months when he joined, now he just looks like a constant sulk-face who moans and shows disrespect towards his teammates every time he has to make a half-arsed effort to run towards a pass. Lazy git has a serious attitude problem and isn’t needed at Spurs.

    • You are dead wrong about kane. I ahve it on authoritative pinion from someone very close to the player (he saw him in his car last week) that kane is going to Barnet.

  4. Linked by who?? Ah that will be the same bullshit twats as you that keep posting this shit to get hits for your ads. You’re nothing to do with Tottenham, just whores getting pimped out by your sponsors. Shame on you, I’d love to see you down the Lane then we’ll “talk”

  5. NO. I would rather have Lo Celso that Dybala. He will be a star next year with the help of Hojbjerg, Harry, and Ndombele we will have a dynamic midfield. We also still have Sissoko who is a bit to slow compared to the others.
