Tottenham might have ended pre-season with a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Championship outfit Watford on Saturday – but their was moment in stoppage-time that would have pleased Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
With Mourinho’s side trailing 2-1 in the dying seconds, half-time substitute Paulo Gazzaniga was sent forward for a corner. Watford then broke forward and striker Marc Navarro looked set to score the Hornet’s third goal from 45-yards after trying his luck with an empty net.
However, Heung Min Son had other ideas, showing incredible pace by sprinting more than half the length of the pitch before making a miraculous goal-line clearance.
