On this day three years ago, Harry Kane joined the 100-club at Tottenham by scoring twice in a 3-0 victory over this weekends opponents Everton.
The England striker had started the campaign typically slow having failed to score in any of Spurs’ three matches in August, but broke his duck by opening the scoring in fortuitous fashion at Goodison Park.
Kane would score his 101st Tottenham goal early in the second-half – expertly guiding home an inch-perfect Ben Davies cross to seal a comfortable win on Merseyside.
Watch both of Kane’s goal below.
Yes the same Harry Kane soon to be burned out for overplaying as Shylock Levy refuses to get another striker on board;I personally would be content with Troy Deeney, but no Shylock is obviously against even that.
And to all these brilliant reporters who continually refer to Tottenham being pipped to this and that purchase it is very simple; Tottenham NEVER went for them.
And a bit of advice to Levy which he will no doubt not take up because it will cost him a few £: you should send a gift to the Barca manager who has decided to keep Coutinho thus saving his transfer to another club and Levy coming out with the quote that we were after him but failed.
