Tottenham have seen an offer for Torino striker Andrea Belotti rejected as their search for a new striker continues, according to reports in Italy.
In his press conference on Friday, Jose Mourinho revealed he is hopeful the club will sign a striker before the transfer window closes, with Spurs aiming to lighten the load on talisman Harry Kane.
And Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio seems to believe Belotti is the next target on Tottenham’s list.
His report claims Spurs have made a loan offer with a €50 million option to buy. However, it is believed the bid has been rejected by Torino.
Belotti scored 22 goals in Serie A last season. The 26-year-old has been capped by Italy 28 times, scoring nine goals.
All in all he looks like an ideal deputy for Kane, but Torino are obviously not keen to lose him – at least on loan or for less than €50 million.
It seems Tottenham will have to up their offer and possibly pay for him straight away rather than taking him on an initial loan.
Hurry up get striker and left back in place of Davies the worst left back in premier league
Why not get Sarr of Watford he is very good player so Spurs should not miss him
Honestly Spurs will NOT get both because of old story that never happen so Enough is Enough
What does fans think of Davies
Clueless prat
I consider that is a terrible thing to say about Davies as he always tries his best for Spurs. There are a lot worse left backs in premier league at present
Another one of Levy’s plots to con the fans into believing that he is showing ambition knowing very well that it will never happen.
Add him to the list of failed attempts of Dybala, Coutinho,Bruno Fernandes etc…..
If we haven’t got the funds to buy Wilson,Watkins or King, where are we going to find that sort of money?
Were his offer actually made and were it accepted,Levy would have a heart attack.
We uncovered players like Winks, why not just groom one? Our strategy to buy proven players in other leagues has hardly gone well.
