Tottenham begin their Europa League campaign on Thursday with a trip to Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second qualifying round.
Spurs looked set to progress straight into the group stages after their sixth-place Premier League finish, but Arsenal’s victory over Chelsea in last months FA Cup final means that Jose Mourinho’s side must secure their passage with three one-leg qualifiers.
Unfortunately for Mourinho, his side having been drawn away in the first two rounds – and the visit to Bulgaria begins a potential run of four away games in the space of just eight days – with Southampton and Leyton Orient or Plymouth also on the horizon for Tottenham.
If Spurs do successfully make it through, all of their group matches will be shown live on BT Sport, but their game in Plovdiv won’t be.
However, Tottenham confirmed that their second qualifying round tie will be available to watch live on Premier Sports 2, with coverage getting underway at 4.55pm, just five minutes before kick-off at 5pm.

a lot of things we might blame DL for, but I think the finance consequence of the virus crisis is not one of them. The stadium was just being used at high capacity, tickets sold &c. when the virus & lockdown started. A number of significant things follow from that. One of them being that spending mega on players (like ManU or Chelsea) is not on for the next 2 yrs. at least. ENIC may have been able to progress with the stadium but it will have been clear to JM from the off last winter that spending like MUFC/ CFC/City/Liverpool is not on.
The team is full of very good players and I would just plead with fellow fans to give it a couple of months. If it’s all looking a bit t*** up by then I would also think hard about the manager. HOWEVER if the rumours of 15m / year salary are true, can the club afford to get rid? oops
