In case you missed it – which is probably unlikely – Gareth Bale has finally completed his loan move back to Tottenham from Real Madrid.

Spurs confirmed the deal on Saturday evening alongside the arrival of full-back Sergio Reguilon, who joins on a permanent deal from the La Liga giants.

Reguilon will improve Tottenham’s depth at left-back significantly, but all the buzz will understandably be about Bale in the coming days.

The Welshman’s return is a huge event for the club and its fans, most of whom still adored Bale during his spell in Spain.

Bale gave his first interview to Spurs TV after the deal was confirmed. Watch below.

  1. So sad when he left but now he is back! I could never have imagined that to happen in a million years. If he does half as well as the first time then it’s going to be absolutely epic. Can’t wait for his first goal. C’mon Gareth & COYS!!!!

  2. Cant wait to see him back on the pitch for us, and how he links up with Kane.i know everybody has a dig at Daniel Levy but honestly mate take a bow, you’ve done good.

  3. No striker, no midfield yet 15 mill for a year for Bale and everyone’s cooing. At least the Spammers know they’re being screwed. Bale will start 15/20 matches max. A million a match roughly. PR misdirection at its finest but if it works, why not?Let’s hope Bale can get euro spots on his own…..when he eventually get on the pitch cos that ain’t for at least a month. The Madrid cast off to get was James Rodriguez as he’s already proofing. A player at his peak and a permanent deal. Too rich for Dans blood though. I hope this doesn’t spoil Bales legacy cos it ain’t 2009.

    • Also Dele not in squad today. Looks like another victim of Joses magic man management. So along with Ndombele Deles future uncertain. Squad is needing more additions as the days go by….luckily Bales here for a year. Holy moly.
