Heung Min Son became the 12th Tottenham player to score a Premier League hat-trick for the club and in doing so, the first from South Korea against Southampton on Sunday.
Son, whose only previous treble for Spurs came against Millwall in the FA Cup at White Hart Lane back in 2017, was in scintillating form at St Mary’s Stadium, producing four clinical finishes either side of half-time to help secure Tottenham’s first league win of the campaign.
It means that to much surprise, Spurs’ previous two league hat-tricks haven’t been scored by Harry Kane – the other being Lucas Moura’s against Huddersfield Town in 2019.
Here are the 11 other players to score Premier League hat-tricks for Tottenham:
1993 – Teddy Sheringham vs Leeds United
1997 – Steffen Iversen vs Sunderland
1998 – Jurgen Klinsmann vs Wimbledon
1998 – Chris Armstrong vs Everton
2000 – Les Ferdinand vs Leicester City
2003 – Robbie Keane vs Everton
2004 – Jermain Defoe vs Southampton
2007 – Dimitar Berbatov vs Reading
2012 – Gareth Bale vs Aston Villa
2015 – Harry Kane vs Leicester City
2019 – Lucas Moura vs Huddersfield Town
2020 – Heung Min Son vs Southampton
