It’s only baby steps, but Tanguy Ndombele might finally be getting his Tottenham career on track.

Having scored the winning goal in Spurs’ Europa League victory over Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Thursday, the Frenchman was rewarded for his second-half cameo with his first start since March against Southampton.

Ndombele started the game brightly, playing one classy through pass to Heung Min Son, but it was a piece of skill on the stroke of half-time that turned the game in favour of Jose Mourinho’s side.

Watch Ndombele make a mockery of Oriol Romeu and James Ward-Prowse in the build-up to Spurs’ leveller.

    • True and I hope Jose drop Winks and put on Locelso so Tanguy can partner PEH instead of forcing him to play at 10. Sanchez continues to be bonehead. Why would you trying to go play a ball deep on left side when Dier is already over there. Bust your arse towards your goal instead of running into a squared position trying to play a ball he can never get to.

  1. Its a start but a long way to go and remember both poch and Jose are among the doubters. He needs to work hard on his fitness and do things like this much more often in 90 minutes.

Sanchez and Dier cannot play together against better teams.

  3. Dier and Davinson are not suitable play together so Spurs really need new central Defender that is serious
Also get new Striker I would prefer Ings from Southampton
