Ryan Sessegnon has scored his first goal for England Under-21s to ensure Aidy Boothroyd’s men secured their passage to next summer’s European Championships.
The Three Lions need a victory over Turkey to secure their place in Hungary and Slovenia, and won 2-1 thanks to goals from Sessegnon and Eddie Nketiah.
Sessegnon has endured a frustrating start to the campaign, and joined Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim on a season-long loan prior to the international break after he wasn’t involved in any of Tottenham’s opening seven games.
But the 20-year-old has fared significantly better on international duty, and you can watch his goal for England below, albeit thanks to a fortunate deflection.
