It was a night to remember on the international stage for Ryan Sessegnon after he scored and assisted to help England Under-21s secure their place at next summer’s European Championships in Hungary and Slovenia.
The 20-year-old hasn’t had much join since making the switch across London from Fulham last summer, but was influential as Aidy Boothroyd’s men ensured qualification with two games to spare.
Sessegnon opened the scoring (here) with a deflected first-half opener, before assisting Eddie Nketiah with a superb pass to double the Three Lions’ lead late in the second half.
