Tottenham return to Premier League action when they travel to Burnley on Monday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side were comfortable winners in their Europa League Group J opener against Austrian outfit LASK on Thursday and will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to ten matches since losing to Everton on the opening day.

Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga missed both the West Ham and LASK games through injury and once again remain doubtful for the trip to Turf Moor.

We think that Serge Aurier and Toby Alderweireld will return to the starting XI – meaning an unchanged back-four from last Sunday, despite the late collapse.

In midfield, it’s likely to be a familiar trio the inform Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Moussa Sissoko and Tanguy Ndombele, who was rested entirely in midweek.

Heung Min Son and Harry Kane will obviously be recalled – with the final attacking place going to Lucas Moura after his impressive showing against LASK, in which he scored on his third consecutive start for Tottenham.

Here’s the side that we think Mourinho will go with against the Clarets.

Predicted XI: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Regulion, Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Son, Lucas, Kane.

    • Dier injured. Lo Celso just back from injury, so a cameo from bench at most.
Bale not ready to start, not match fit, so will assume 30mins again, with 60 in Europa on Thursday as we ease him back in.

    • Sanchez is a liability, should be Aurier Toby Davies and Requilon. If the 2 mids are doing their jobs then fundamentals should be enough than so call speed. Sanchez has lots of speed and half a football brain. If Locelso is not fit to start, then it should be Winks. Burnley will sit with a bank of 4 and 5. Sissoko will be s waste since he is not a deep lying mid and he cannot recreate consistently. With Winks he would allow Pierre to press higher convering areas Tanguy cannot recover to fill.Kane and Moura will be back in the midle to help out.
