It’s been a little more than five weeks since Sergio Regulion switched La Liga for the Premier League, but the left-back has quickly settled into life at Tottenham.
The Spanish defender has started four of Spurs’ six matches in all competitions since signing from Real Madrid, and has made a major impact under Jose Mourinho – chipping in with two assists already.
Given his impressive form, it came as a major surprise to see Ben Davies preferred for the game against Burnley.
However, it was a decision that paid off after Mourinho’s side claimed a 1-0 victory at Turf Moor to keep up their perfect league record on the road this season.

Like after any positive result, players came out and gave their reactions to the win on social media. And whilst Regulion didn’t post anything himself, he responded to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s post-match tweet which you can see above.
The 23-year-old said: “I love you.”
I love you ❤️

To which Hojbjerg then replied: “We all love you Hermanooo.”
