Tanguy Ndombele’s Tottenham revival continued against Burnley on Monday night – with the Frenchman producing another impressive performance to help Jose Mourinho’s men secure a 1-0 victory at Turf Moor.
It appeared that Ndombele could leave Spurs in the summer, but this was his fifth consecutive Premier League start – something he hasn’t previously done since making the record move from Lyon last summer.
This particular performance must have been quite pleasing for Ndombele, who was famously hooked at half-time during Tottenham’s previous trip to Burnley.
But several months later, the 23-year-old is playing with a great deal of confidence – with one piece of skill in the first-half epitomising his recent upturn in fortunes.
