Tottenham have confirmed 2,000 of the club’s fans will be allowed to attend the north London derby against Arsenal on December 6.
With the UK exiting lockdown, a new tiered system will allow supporters of certain clubs across the country to re-enter stadiums for the first time.
And with London being placed in Tier 1 when lockdown ends, Spurs fans will be among the first to watch live Premier League football once again.
Tottenham announced the news in a statement on Friday lunchtime via the club’s website, revealing season ticket holders and executive members will have access to the tickets via a balloting system – a health questionnaire and a new code of conduct will also be in place.
The statement in part reads: “We are pleased to confirm we shall be opening our doors to 2,000 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since March for our Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday 6 December.
“This follows the Government’s confirmation that London has been placed in Tier 2 of the new localised COVID-19 restriction measures.
“Although we wish we were able to welcome more than 2,000 fans to attend such a huge north London derby match, this nonetheless represents a huge step in the right direction and an historic moment for the Club.”

Spurs beat Arsenal 2-1 in this fixture last season thanks to goals from Son Heung-min and Toby Alderweireld after Alexandre Lacazette’s opener.
Jose Mourinho’s men currently sit top of the table and have an opportunity to further open up the gap between themselves and their fiercest rivals.
There is, however, the small matter of another London derby against Chelsea to deal with first.
Just a “health questionnaire” to clear first, then some pre and post match ” infection control fogging and electrostatic spraying and disinfecting” ?Whaaa??…all for a virus that you statistically have more chance of dying in the bath than die from.
Quite why anyone would want to be part of this dystopian nightmare I don’t know…….meanwhile people still can’t get scans for cancers etc. Football without fans is training. 2000 fans in a prem ground….not much better.
“the new match day experience”…..hahahahaha!
Replying to your own dickhead posts hahahahahahahaha

He doesn’t have a point, he’s a gooner who comes on here to try and get a rise out of people. Best ignored.
The tickets should be allocated to blacks only. That would be a start in your repenting #BLM
Yes I agree.
I think this is a good news the fact the we are allowed to attend the event.
