Paris Saint-Germain will revive their efforts to sign Tottenham outcast Dele Alli on loan next month, according to the Daily Mail.

Alli was the subject of reported interest in Alli during the summer transfer window (via the Guardian) when the attacking midfielder was struggling to make the Spurs starting line-up at the beginning of the season.

Since then his minutes have only reduced, with Alli failing to make the Premier League matchday squad in recent weeks and even being ignored in the Europa League.

And the Mail believes PSG could go back in for Alli in the January window.

Their report claims the 24-year-old is willing to leave Tottenham next month in order to play more regularly elsewhere, and PSG are apparently confident they can lure him.

Indeed, Alli may well be tempted by the chance to play Champions League football. If he impresses in Europe’s elite competition, England manager Gareth Southgate might consider recalling him for this summer’s European championships.

A move away certainly looks like Alli’s best option right now – it could all depend on whether he wants to play in a different country.
