Gareth Bale’s return to N17 might not have turned out to be the fairy-tale that some were hoping for, but the Welshman is fully Tottenham.
Bale made his 10th appearance back at Spurs against Leicester on Sunday, although the 31-year-old wasn’t able get Tottenham back into the game.
And whilst the attacker has struggled since moving back from Madrid, the Wales captain has certainly added plenty of spirit to the Tottenham dressing room.
Talking of dressing rooms, Bale was involved in The Spurs Christmas No Laugh Challenge with Joe Hart, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty recently.
And when himself and Hojbjerg were trailing 2-0, Bale quickly realised something about that scoreline in particular, and said: “Same as the Arsenal score”.
