Tottenham’s second game of the festive period sees them host Fulham in a London derby on Wednesday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side have slipped to 7th in the Premier League following four matches without winning in December, although three points against Scott Parker’s me will ensure Spurs end 2020 inside the top-four.

However, the Tottenham boss is without Giovani Lo Celso and Gareth Bale, whilst confirmed that Brazilian pair Carlos Vinicius and Lucas Moura are also doubtful to face the Cottagers.

We think that Mourinho is going to shuffle his pack after the Wolves draw – with both Toby Alderwerield and Serge Aurier returning to the starting XI in what should be a back-four.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko should sit in front of the defence, with Tanguy Ndombele in a more attacking role.

Meanwhile, Steve Bergwijn should return after a two-game absence from the starting line-up and therefore join Heung Min Son and Harry Kane up front.

It would be great to see Dele Alli giving the nod ahead of Sissoko, with Ndombele playing next to Hojbjerg, especially after Spurs’ recent lack of goals, but we believe Mourinho will opt for a familiar line-up, which will see the England man on the bench.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Fulham – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

Lloris, Aurier, Dier, Alderweireld, Regulion, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane.

  1. Rodon has to start. We have thrown 9 pts away from set pieces in last 5 mins. He is 6ft4 and good in the air. He has featured in three games. Chelsea Burnley and City. Goals conceded NONE. Pair him with Alderweireld and he’ll get better and better. And tell Son and Kane to f……g liven up !!! They have been pathetic of late.

    • I think you should have the managers job, That is a good call, especially the kick up the arse for Kane & Sonny, Get Dier and Sanchez to toss a coin to se who will polish the players boots or just do one.
