Mauricio Pochettino is interested in taking Hugo Lloris to Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham have already identified two replacements for the goalkeeper, according to the Sun.
Former Spurs boss Pochettino is set to take charge at PSG (via Sky Sports) and it looks like he is ready to raid the Londoners for one of his favourite players from his time in north London.
Lloris was first-choice goalkeeper and captain throughout Pochettino’s reign and the pair could reunite in the French capital if the Sun’s story is to be believed.
The report claims Pochettino is keen to replace Keylor Navas with Lloris, who has just one year left on his Tottenham contract – and it is believed Spurs are already looking at potential replacements for the 34-year-old.
West Brom’s Sam Johnstone and Manchester United’s Dean Henderson are both apparently on the club’s shortlist.
Henderson was excellent on loan at Sheffield United last season and could become frustrated playing second fiddle to David De Gea at Old Trafford, while Johnstone has impressed at West Brom despite the team’s relegation form.
Both are yet to be truly tested at a top club, though, so Spurs might choose to look for a more established name.
The ideal scenario, of course, would be for Lloris to stay put – hopefully this one is just a rumour.
