Jose Mourinho has held his press conference ahead of Tottenham’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Brentford on Tuesday night.
The Spurs boss said Erik Lamela is “not available” for the match but did not clarify why – Lamela is one of three players who were pictured at a gathering together over Christmas despite coronavirus restrictions.
Mourinho went on to agree with a journalist that Tuesday’s game is his biggest since arriving at the club. He also insisted his team always want to attack after recent criticism of his defensive tactics.
