Tottenham will take part in this weekend’s must-watch FA Cup third round tie against eighth-tier Marine, and Jose Mourinho has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

We think Mourinho will rest the majority of his stars – including Hugo Lloris, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane – but the Spurs boss will still be able to put out a relatively strong side.

Joe Hart will start between the sticks, protected by a centre-back pairing of Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga.

There is a good chance Serge Aurier will play at right-back again, with Matt Doherty preferred in the Premier League these days. Ben Davies should come in on the left.

In midfield, Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks could partner up to give Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg a rest – though Mourinho may give Gedson Fernandes a rare chance to impress.

Dele Alli will then provide support for a front three of Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius. Gareth Bale could make an impact from the bench after returning to training.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Marine – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. I would be more than happy if this becomes the starting line up especially if Dele, Bale and Vinicius all do what they are capable of doing.
That being the case, the 4 goal lead we take into half time enables Jose to play all youngsters on the bench. Amen

  2. I think everyone’s forgetting Joe Rodon! He couldn’t play in Europe or the Carabao but this match will be perfect for him. Expect Tanganga to make way for him but if Sanchez doesn’t play it will possibly be a sign he’s leaving
