It took a while, but Tottenham eventually clicked into gear in the FA Cup fourth round on Monday night, beating Wycombe Wanderers 4-1.

Goals from Gareth Bale and Harry Winks put Jose Mourinho’s men ahead before a Tanguy Ndombele brace saw off the Championship strugglers.

Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the night.

Joe Hart, 7 – Made a couple of good early saves and could do little about the goal.

Japhet Tanganga, 5 – Was hooked at the break after an ineffective 45 minutes at right-back.

Davinson Sanchez, 5 – Some decent contributions but generally shaky throughout.

Toby Alderweireld, 5 – Like Sanchez, he just didn’t look comfortable when called upon.

Ben Davies, 6 – Safe at the back and got forward whenever he could.

Moussa Sissoko, 6 – Quiet first half in midfield before moving to right-back, where he drove up the pitch.

Harry Winks, 7 – A busy evening with an inconsistent final ball until he curled in the crucial second goal.

Erik Lamela, 5 – Saw plenty of the ball but was really rusty before he was taken off.

Lucas Moura, 6 – Dangerous early on but grew quiet and was eventually substituted.

Gareth Bale, 7 – Missed three or four great chances but got his goal and grew in confidence.

Carlos Vinicius, 5 – His first touch wasn’t quiet there and he will see this as a wasted opportunity.

Substitutes

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 7 – Spurs improved massively when he came on at half-time.

Harry Kane, 6 – Gave the team a much-needed foothold in the final third.

Son Heung-min, 6 – Missed a sitter but like Kane he gave Spurs what was needed in attack.

Tanguy Ndombele, 8 – A man of the match performance from the bench thanks to two excellent goals.

  1. Seen on player ratings on other sites how they are describing Sanchez as having a decent display ,, no one seemed to mention that he has cost us ANOTHER goal , which his poor clearance led to the Wycombe goal,.
How many games is that now ? . The bloke is a liability in defence and worries me everytime i see him on the park ,,
