Tottenham are interested in signing former Real Madrid and current PSG star Angel Di Maria this month, according to L’Equipe.
The Argentine star has reportedly rejected a new deal from the French champions, and is out of contract at the end of the current season.
Jose Mourinho is looking to improve his squad this month – with his Spurs team still fighting on four fronts following their FA Cup victory at Wycombe on Monday evening.
And L’Equipe believe that the Tottenham boss have approached PSG about the services of Di Maria, which would see Mourinho reunite with the attacker after spending two years together during their time at Real Madrid.
Di Maria is currently playing under former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, and has started all five games following his arrival.
However, with Dele Alli strongly linked with a loan move to the French capital after his difficulties at Tottenham this season, it’ll be interesting to see if the possibility of a swap deal between the two clubs gets mentioned here.
