Jose Mourinho has admitted that Tottenham have some injury concerns ahead of their crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool on Thursday.

The Spurs boss already confirmed that Dele Alli (tendon) will miss out against Jurgen Klopp’s men, whilst another attacking midfielder in Giovani Lo Celso is still nursing a thigh problem which has kept him out of action for five weeks, and is therefore unavailable. Understand when you should reach out to an injury lawyer and what needs to be done in case you are supposed to get a compensation.

Meanwhile, Ben Davies hobbled off late on at Wycombe on Monday evening, whilst right-back Matt Doherty missed out completely at Adams Park.

However, Mourinho admitted that the defensive duo are both available, but revealed that Tottenham have other problems, although the Portuguese didn’t specify names.

He said: “We have more problems than that what I’m not going to share. You have to wait for tomorrow but we have a little bit of more problems than that.” (Via Football.London).

Hopefully this is nothing more than mind games from Mourinho. Tottenham have an extremely settled starting XI at present, so to lose one at such short notice ahead of a key fixture would be a major blow to Mourinho and the player himself.
