Jose Mourinho has confirmed his starting XI for Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Brighton this evening.

And the Spurs boss hand rung the changes following Thursday’s defeat to Liverpool – handing starts to Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Moussa Sissoko and Gareth Bale.

Harry Kane’s double ankle injury sustained against Jurgen Klopp’s team sees him miss out, and replaced up front by Heung Min Son – with the Welshman occupying the right-hand side on what’s just his second league start since re-signing for Spurs.

It would appear a back-three of Joe Rodon, Aldeweireld and Sanchez, which would mean Sissoko and Ben Davies in the wing-back roles, although a back-four could see the Belgian slot in at right-back, a position he’s played previously for his country or even Sanchez.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, fresh from his first Tottenham goal in midweek, partners Tanguy Ndombele in midfield, whilst Steven Bergwijn continues in attack alongside Bale and Son which means despite Kane’s absence, Carlos Vinicius is still waiting for his first Premier League start.

  1. Typical we need a striker to cover for Harry, find a decent back up and this cretin of a useless manager leaves him on the bench. The special one has screwed up Chelsea, then Man United, he thinks he is better than he is and he is a bully. We lose Dele because Jose hates players that fans idolise. Get that twat out and go get the Wolves manager, or the Brentford manager.

  2. u r so right with your comments vic. When will levy get the message Jose is toxic, and is not interested in anything but himself.

  3. Did not get much better in the second half when they were all on the pitch. Jose played vini he had a shot, son had a shot and everybody else other than Toby just run around.
