Tottenham were dumped out of the Europa League following a shocking night against Dinamo Zagreb.
Spurs led 2-0 heading to the Croatian capital, but were deservedly beaten 3-0 on the night courtesy of a Mislav Orsic hat-trick – the third coming in extra-time.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day:
Hugo Lloris, 6 – Helpless with all three goals, which were impressive all finishes.
Serge Aurier, 3 – Should have done more with the opener, whilst his attempt at Zagreb’s winner was simply pathetic.
Davinson Sanchez, 3 – Made some decent interceptions.
Eric Dier, 3 – Looks short of confidence and was simply all over the place throughout.
Ben Davies, 4 – Opened up far too easily for Zagreb’s second goal and he added nothing in an attacking sense.
Harry Winks, 4 – Added little before he was replaced.
Moussa Sissoko, 3 – One of many to struggle with the condition of the pitch and hardly covered himself in glory for the second and third goals.
Lucas Moura, 5 – Lacked quality, but once again, the only Tottenham player looking to make things happen.
Dele Alli, 4 – Set up chances for Kane and Lamela, but looks short of game-time.
Erik Lamela, 4 – Booked early on and with Sunday’s sending off in mind, he was hooked.
Harry Kane, 4 – Starved of service for the majority, but missed two sitters either side of full-time when they did come his way – the second an open goal in the dying moments.
Substitutes:
Gareth Bale, 5 – Created a chance for Kane, but should have scored himself deep into extra-time when his effort was saved.
Sergio Regulion, 3 – Couldn’t get anything going, whilst his final ball was awful.
Giovani Lo Celso, 7 – Comfortably Spurs’ best player on the night. Showed real quality and should have claimed an assist, had it not been for Bale’s missed opportunity.
Tanguy Ndombele, 4 – Didn’t do enough for Zagreb’s winner.
Steven Bergwijn, 4 – Tried to inject some urgency, but it was too late.
Carlos Vinicius, 3 – Missed one half-chance from Bergwijn’s cut-back.
How can you give lloris 6? He hasnt made a single save for months, totally outplayed by his opposite number in every department and footwork and leadership skills an absolute joke
I have followed Spurs since 1967 , it has been a labour of love , all the ups and downs (more downs than ups) I was so so upset when Levy ousted Potch , all I can say is Levy is being made to look the fool again , Mourhino was always going to be a disaster , who next , —– Joe Davis needs to rid Levy ,he cant take his billions with him , fan power is required , that stadium will look terrible half empty.

If Mourinho were a decent human being, he would do the right thing and resign.But as he is a thieving conman he will do no such thing.
If he won’t, Levy should sack him in the next few hours.
Sometimes as was proved tonight, you are better off without a coach all together.
Absolutely agree the team ought to get together and decide Kane ought to be captain and marshal the team on the pitch. Lloris should be shouting angrily at the backs. Hart used to do this and should be put between the sticks now. Imo
The writer has made an obvious impression which is absolutely true that Jose want to win trophies and the players are lazy, lack concentration and positive mentality. Spur yesterday was a disgrace. With this attitude one can’t blame Jose. I will advise Levy to consider Jose one more season, total overhaul is paramount at this moment. Well in the initial stages I saw mangers who suffered same as Jose has, most of them were called to quit but to say they are having results. Ole, Arteta, all had difficulty times.
A few weeks ago everyone said Ndombele was the best thing since sliced bread i said he was over rated and a showboater i rest my case.
