Tottenham are keeping tabs on two potential Gareth Bale replacements, according to Sky Sports.

Bale is seemingly on his way back to Real Madrid this summer when his loan spell ends, and so Spurs will need to refresh their front line with a new attacker.

Sky claims Spurs are considering a move for Stuttgart star Nicholas Gonzalez, who has scored six goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.

The 22-year-old Argentine plays out wide but likes to come inside and provide a goal threat, much like Bale.

It is believed Tottenham are also looking at Lille ace Jonathan Bamba – the former France Under-21 international, 25, has found the net six times in the French top-flight this term.

Whether either player is good enough for a top Premier League side remains to be seen, but Spurs are unlikely to sign a more established name unless they qualify for the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Sky’s report suggests the Londoners are fond of Palmeiras midfielder Gabriel Menino.

It seems there could be plenty of changes this summer, with a number of players coming and going in multiple positions.
