PSG are expected to join the race to sign Harry Kane if Kylian Mbappe leaves this summer, according to the Independent.
Recent reports from The Athletic suggested that Kane will hand in a transfer request if Tottenham aren’t in the Champions League next season, with both Manchester clubs also interested in signing the England captain.
Kane has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 27 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, although his heroics aren’t likely to be enough to see Spurs finish in the top four, with Sunday’s 3-1 defeat on Sunday leaving them six points behind fourth.
And the Independent believe that should Mbappe sign for Real Madrid, with his contract expiring in 2022, the French giants will move for Kane as a potential replacement.
PSG, managed by Tottenham fans favourite Mauricio Pochettino, are set to be monitoring the situation, although they’d have to pay in the region of around £150m for Kane’s services.
As a Spurs supporter for about 45 years, I would wish Harry Kane all the best when he moves. He deserves much better and with Spurs I don’t think he will achieve much due to Daniel Levy. COYS
