Tottenham will be looking to put an end to their miserable run when they travel to Everton on Friday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side slipped six points behind fourth-place West Ham following their defeat to Manchester United on Sunday and desperately need a victory at Goodison Park.

With Ben Davies and Matt Doherty still unavailable, we expect just one change to the defence – with Toby Alderweireld replacing Eric Dier, who struggled on his return to the side against United.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele will no doubt continue as a central-midfield pairing, although moving forward we think Mourinho will make changes.

Heung Min Son and Harry Kane will start in attack, and we think they will be joined by Lucas Moura, leaving one final attacking role on the right-side of the front-three.

And despite his lack of minutes since the north London derby, Gareth Bale might get the nod ahead of the likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Everton – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

Lloris, Aurier, Rodon, Alderweireld, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Son, Lucas, Bale, Kane.

  1. Personally I would play Lo Celso next to Hoyjberg, push Ndombele up to No10 and drop Lucas to bench. Bale has been disappointing but mainly due to his omission from starting. A fit Bale will be a game changer, he hasn’t had enough game play in my opinion to get him match fit.

  2. How do you perform if your not on the pitch! 10 minutes here 10 minutes there and has still shows his class with stats that match the best in the prem More about the managers ego I think. Gareth Bale is a game changer if he’s on the pitch. Poor results not down to Bale but manegerial nonsense
