Gareth Bale has scored his first Tottenham hat-trick since 2012.
Having given Spurs a half-time lead against Sheffield United, the Welshman then struck twice more in the space of eight second-half minutes to put the scoreline beyond doubt.
His second was a blistering finish high into the top corner following Heung Min Son’s pass before completing his treble with another clinical finish from the edge of the box – with Serge Aurier claiming another assist.
