Danny Rose has bid an emotional farewell to Tottenham in a new interview.

The defender, who joined Spurs from the Leeds United academy 14 years ago, will leave on a free transfer at the end of the month when his contract expires.

Speaking to Spurs TV, Rose held back the tears as he spoke about some of his favourite Tottenham memories.

He talks about memorable derbies against Chelsea and Arsenal, and of course that night in Amsterdam comes up.

It’s a genuinely heartwarming interview that’s well worth your time. Watch below.

  1. Thank you Danny for your wonderful contribution over the years. If ever someone deserved a medal it was you.
At your best, you were the best left back in England if not in Europe.
Not great the treatment you were dealt the last couple of years; probably said things you should not have even if hit the nail on the head with some statements.
Still a few years left in you; hope you find a decent club who treats you well: good luck; will always be remembered at Spurs as a top man.
