Tottenham are considering a move for Stuttgart forward Nico Gonzalez, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Gonzalez scored six goals in the Bundesliga last season but missed much of the second half of the campaign through injury.
He has played for his country, Argentina, five times since first being capped in 2019, scoring twice.
And it looks like he could become a Spurs player this summer, if the Londoners can fight off the competition.
Nico Gonzalez is expected to leave Stuttgard in the next days. Fiorentina offered €25m add ons included, Brighton interested too but Tottenham are now planning for a move. Fabio Paratici appreciates him – no official proposal yet from Spurs. ⚪️?? #transfers @DiMarzio

Romano, who is always reliable when it comes to transfers, claims Italian side Fiorentina have already made a bid worth €25 million for Gonzalez.
He says Brighton are also interested while Tottenham are ‘planning for a move’ – though they haven’t made an offer yet.
Gonzalez plays off the left, which means he would provide competition and cover for Son Heung-min if he were to join Spurs.
It’s unclear how desperate Tottenham will be for more depth up front this summer until the situation with Gareth Bale is figured out.
If Spurs are able to take the Welshman on loan again, perhaps the need for Gonzalez (or another forward) will be lessened.
This could be a pretty tempting offer for this player, hope all goes well for him.
