Nuno Espirito Santo is officially the new Tottenham Head Coach.

The Portuguese, who left his position at Wolves back in May, has been confirmed as Jose Mourinho’s successor exactly 72 days after he was sacked on 19 April.

Nuno has signed a two-year contract until the end of the 2022-2023 campaign, and as ever with new arrivals, spoke to the club’s media team.

He talks about making the fans proud, and how honoured he is to be given the opportunity to take the club forward.

Watch the full interview below.

  1. He wasn’t on my wish list but let’s be honest, not many managers want to work under the stewardship of Levy. Now he has been appointed, I feel we need to get behind him and the team. I only nope we get some quality additions particularly in defence to take us forward.

  2. Give him a chance, he’s brave other Managers refused to come because of Levy. The board should support him by getting good defenders otherwise he will fail as well. He also need to get rid of a lot of dead wood players

  3. He must be cheap be lucky to last the season may finish the season in the top ten but no chance finishing in the top four

  4. How can anyone say give him a chance when you know he has not got a hope with levy and the board. Levy in the pantomime interview said we must be prudent in other words little or no spending and not on quality players that’s for sure. Expect dier to stay, expect alli to stay expect winks to stay. All are either poor quality or just plain lazy. The guy has no chance if they didn’t back poch didn’t get Jose the players he wanted why oh why when we now have massive debts and less money do any of you think levy and the board will bring in top quality players. No chance. They who do come will be either free, under 20 million which buys you very little now on the defender front. We took out a government loan of 175 million now it’s paid off we owe 250 million for the next 30 years on interest only payments of 7 million every year. That’s on top of the stadium debt no way we will be buying anyone of premiership quality tested.
