Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura have all been told they’re allowed to leave Tottenham this summer according to The Athletic.
Lamela, who’s been linked with a return to Serie A with Fiorentina, has been generally a bit part player in recent years, making just 39 Premier League across the last five seasons.
The Argentine recently entered the final 12 months of his contract in north London, which means Spurs are surely keen on cashing-in on the 29-year-old to avoid him leaving for northing next summer.
Meanwhile, Sissoko slipped down the pecking order last term, hardly featuring post-Christmas, and whilst his role could change under Nuno Espirito Santo, he’ll be 32 at the end of next season, so it’s no great surprise he’s up for sale.
Perhaps the most surprising of the trio is Moura, who became a key player towards the end of 2020-2021, making 50 appearances in all competitions, bettered only by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Heung Min Son.
We think that both Sissoko and Lamela should be moved on, but Moura’s quality, pace and popularity would make him a massive loss to the dressing room.
