Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is targeting a move for Wolves man Adama Traore, according to the Daily Mail.
Santo has several attacking players at his disposal, but having already lost Erik Lamela to Sevilla, whilst Gareth Bale returned to Real Madrid, he’s looking to bring in another face.
Traore was signed by Santo from Middlesbrough following Wolves’ promotion back to the Premier League, but the Mail believes that the Midlands outfit are willing to listen to offers for the 25-year-old, who has two years remaining on his Molineux contract.
The Barcelona academy graduate is the second fastest player in the Premier League behind Kyle Walker, but hasn’t always produced the end product that his perhaps warrants, scoring just twice and adding three assists last season.
Traore, who contributed 13 goals in the previous campaign when Wolves were edged out by Tottenham in the race for Europe on the final-day, is reportedly available for around £45m.
With Bryan Gil arriving from Sevilla, Tottenham now have two wingers on each side, which suggest that one of Steven Bergwijn or Lucas Moura could be sold on to make room for the Spaniard.
