Steve Bergwijn has netted his first goal in pre-season.

The Dutchman has spurned several chances in the three previous friendlies, but took this one with great confidence following another Heung Min Son assist.

Spurs were trailing 2-0 before Lucas Moura halved the deficit just past the hour mark with his third in as many games (here).

And less than 10 minutes later, Bergwijn completed the comeback with a run and rasping finish under Edouard Mendy.

Watch below.

  1. Still think bergwijn needs a loan spell somewhere. Lucas has been decent enough towards the end of jose’s time and in pre season to warrant being kept as an impact sub. Nuno’s system is frankly awful so far and we looked like wolves most of that game.

We need playmakers, a defensive box to box and really we need a better system than we’re going to see.
