Tottenham are in talks with young Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic’s representatives, according to the Express.

The 21-year-old scored 21 goals in Serie A last season, with only three players outscoring him in the Italian league – two of which were Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku.

Despite growing uncertainty over Harry Kane’s future, Nuno Espirito Santo wants to add another striker to his squad regardless of whether the England captain ends up staying.

Spurs had been linked with Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez last weekend, but the Argentine forward looks set to remain at the San Siro, and Santo has swiftly moved to another target.

Vlahovic, a Serbian international, has scored 27 times in 84 Serie A outings, and ended last season by notching 12 goals in as many games, including braces against Atalanta and Lazio.

Kane’s future remains firmly up in the air, but with or without the Tottenham man, Vlahovic looks a shrewd piece of business from the Spurs hierarchy should they get it over the line.

  1. I think all Spurs fans are getting fed up with Levy and co for not getting these deals done, why does it take Levy so long? look at Chelsea and Lukaku in 8 or 9 days the deal was done and dusted, we’ve been signing Tomiyasu for about 3 months and he’s still not here.

    • Pay attention! Tomiyasu was at the just concluded Olympics. He’s hardly had time for a shower. This is not Levy’s fault. You pin everything on him. It’s also not his fault that Kane has not officially put in a transfer request, or that Man City seem unwilling to pay the price for him Your eternal sniping is getting boring.

        • Maybe, maybe not, but blaming Levy and co for every clickbait story that doesn’t end in a transfer shows just how dim some people are. Don’t let that stop you being a gobby muppet though.
