Tottenham ran out 1-0 winners against Manchester City on Sunday, ensuring victory in Nuno Espirito’s Santo’s first game in charge.

Hugo Lloris, 7 – Recovered from an early flap to have a comfortable day, catching crosses and making routine saves.
Japhet Tanganga, 9 – Excellent. Aggressive in the tackle at every opportunity and often drove Spurs forward.
Davinson Sanchez, 8 – I noticed one fluffed clearance but the Colombian already looks like he has his confidence back.
Eric Dier, 8 – Like Sanchez, Dier was surprisingly strong and composed throughout. Really impressive.
Sergio Reguilon, 7 – Produced a couple of dangerous crosses and generally defended well.
Oliver Skipp, 7 – A strong display as the deepest midfielder. Didn’t look like a player lacking Premier League experience.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 7 – Helped Skipp make Spurs difficult to penetrate centrally, and contributed to many of the counter attacks.
Dele Alli, 8 – So composed on the ball and put in numerous tackles and interceptions to break up City attacks in that new midfield role.
Lucas Moura, 8 – His bursts forward were instrumental and his work rate was so great to see. One negative: his shooting.
Steven Bergwijn, 7 – Worked incredibly hard and always wanted to start a counter. Should have made it 2-0, though.
Son Heung-min, 8 – After some tentative moments in the first half he burst into life after the break and grabbed the crucial winner.

Giovani Lo Celso, N/A – Showed real grit to help Spurs get over the line.
Matt Doherty, N/A – Enjoyed a comfortable cameo after replacing Tanganga.

Disgraceful from the fans singing are you watching Harry kane. This is a man who has kept this club going over his time. Take away his goals and assists see where we would be. One game in against the champions who have a trophy cabinet the likes of which spurs can only dream of. Harry has always given his all for the club and this is how the fans turn on him because thats how it looks and sounded. The man wants to win things and sorry but when was the last time spurs won a major cup take away that mickey mouse cup in 08 when. Disgraceful I’m ashamed from what I heard today but not surprised.

Harry Kane is a Spurs Fan and worshipped by us all and it saddens us to see that he feels “he will be better off elsewhere”.The sheer joy of beating Money Bags Man City and asking Harry that perhaps he might not be better off leaving us for them shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
Again I say one game in spurs beat a weak city side goal wise and suddenly Daniel and Lewis are forgiven for all the years of nothing. Ridiculous. I was at the game and sung it at the top of my lungs. Not because I have any ill feeling towards Harry, but because I want him to stay. We wanted him to feel the passion we have for this club and that the grass is not always greener. Why you think you get to sit at home and tell us what to do is beyond me.
