Harry Kane has spoken publically for the first time since returning to Hotspur Way last Saturday.
Kane hasn’t travelled to Portugal for Tottenham’s UEFA Conference League tie against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday despite being named in the squad for the two-legged play-off tie.
However, Kane is staying back at Spurs’ Hotspur Way training base to build up his fitness following his delayed return to pre-season, which saw him miss the final friendly against Arsenal and then season-opening victory against Manchester City on Sunday.
The England captain should make himself available to feature against Wolves on Sunday should Nuno Espirito Santo select him after leaving him out against Pep Guardiola’s men.
But for now, Kane is working hard back in north London and took to social media to confirm his whereabouts following weeks of speculation and uncertainty surrounding his future.
“Another session in the bank,” Kane said on Instagram.
