Harry Kane could make his first start of the season when Tottenham host Pacos de Ferreira in the UEFA Conference League tomorrow night.

Kane was a late substitute against Wolves on Sunday, but has since committed his future to the club and should therefore be in line to get some much-needed minutes in his body ahead of the game with Watford this weekend.

Despite the dreadful performance out on Portugal, we expect to see just one change to the back-four, with Eric Dier replacing Cameron Carter-Vickers as Joe Rodon remains sidelined.

Into midfield, Harry Winks could get another chance to impress alongside Giovani Lo Celso, whilst Lucas Moura, Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil supporting Kane in attack, with Dane Scarlett likely to get his opportunity from the bench after his difficult first leg showing.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Wolves – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

Gollini, Doherty, Romero, Dier, Davies, Winks, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Lucas, Gil, Kane.

  1. Lo Celso, Winks AND Sessegnon??? NOOOOOOOO! They were so bad in the 1st leg, no chance they’ll play in the MUST WIN 2nd leg. I would think Hojbjerg, Skipp and Dele would start, with Sonny and Kane up front. Once we get the cushion we need then he can rotate it BUT we HAVE to win this game. Paco took us apart in the midfield due to inexperience and senior players playing SO badly. Lo Celso was a disgrace imo and Harry Winks just isn’t playing well to warrant a start. Sessegnon isn’t convincing either so I wouldn’t risk him starting.

    • Lo Celso, Winks and Sessegnon are all good players but when played with others with limited experience such as N.John and D.Scarlett we had absolutely no outlet.

That team will rip Paco apart but we could swap out one of Gil or Sessegnon for Son or Bergwijn to make certain

    • Great use of upper case FOR NO REASON. Did I get it right? Just want to be down with the kids who have never been to a game in their life

  2. Son has a hamstring issue. I guess Hojbjerg will play to provide solidity in front of defence…he doesnt need rotation so early in the season…he played every match last season. Lucas had a bad match vs Wolves so i reckon he can use this one to get back in rhythm. If Traore is signed he will be needing to max his opporunities. So…
Winks, Hojbjerg (CDM); Lucas, Gio, Gill (AM) & Kame upfront with Son and Dele as heavy artillery on bench if it gets bad.
