Tottenham could use Tanguy Ndombele as a makeweight to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie in January, according to reports in Italy.
Last week we relayed a story from Italian news source Calcio Mercato that claimed Spurs are set to offer Kessie – who is out of contract next summer – a deal worth €8 million per year.
And now the same outlet is suggesting Spurs could make their approach sooner by attempting to strike a deal in the coming January transfer window.
Calcio Mercato says the Londoners might offer Ndombele in exchange for Kessie, who is also said to be attracting attention from Juventus.
The structure of the potential deal, however, is up for debate, given that Kessie has one year left on his contract and Ndombele has four left on his deal.
Usually those facts would mean Milan would pay a fee-plus-Kessie to sign Ndombele, but Tottenham’s apparent desperation to move on their player could complicate things.
Indeed, Milan are surely only likely to sanction a deal if they really want Ndombele, because he will be more costly than Kessie.
We must offload Ndombele asap before the squad suffers from his negativity. He is not far off being booed by the fans for his antics.Stealing a living then moaning about is it not good for anyone.
What nonesense. Maybe the manager needs a different man management undea
At last my prayers have been answered. Although we will be loosing money on his expensive transfer deal Kassie is far more better than him. Get it done now and leave the paperwork for Jan.
