Tottenham want to sign an attacking player in January and retain an interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to The Athletic.

Bryan Gil was the only attacker to arrive at the club in the summer, and although the Spaniard has shown promise he is clearly one for the future rather than a readymade regular.

With that in mind, it is believed Spurs want to bolster the squad at the top end of the pitch in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Athletic claims Wolves winger Adama Traore could be a target, while Fiorentina’s goal machine Vlahovic – who has found the net 35 times for the Italian club, including 21 league goals last term – is on Tottenham’s radar.

Vlahovic’s contract expires at the end of next season, and so Spurs are said to be more likely to make a move in the summer of 2022 than in January.

That said, perhaps Tottenham should try to get the jump on the competition by making an early approach for the 21-year-old Serbia international.

  1. Hope we get him, but it is unlikely. We have no champions league football and he has options.
Imagine him fully integrated into our team and the Kane circus gone!!
    Dreams,dreams,dreams.

  2. Get Adama. When you have a player, who can OPEN up defences, it gives your attackers, to rise up, follow through, AND PUT IN THE GOALS. IF a team cannot break through defences, there are NO goals AND… BORING.
