Incoming Tottenham manager Antonio Conte wants the club to target eight Serie A players in January, according to reports in Italy.
Conte is expected to be named Spurs’ new head coach on Tuesday, according to The Telegraph, following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.
And it seems the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss already has his eye on a number of potential transfer targets.
Italian outlet Sport Mediaset (as relayed by The Mirror) claims Conte wants Tottenham to buy highly-rated Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, among other players.
Those others are Inter Milan trio Marcelo Brozovic, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, Juventus pair Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt, Lazio’s Manuel Lazzari and AC Milan’s Franck Kessie.
Three of those players are centre-backs, which suggests Conte wants to set up with a back three at Spurs.
All of them would improve the squad, but Chiesa and De Ligt are perhaps unrealistic targets, particularly as Tottenham are unable to offer Champions League football.
Vlahovic would be a great signing, not only because he is a clinical goalscorer but also because Spurs have absolutely no cover or competition for Harry Kane at present.

All of them. They sound familiar and have good reputations. Something that we never to seem to recruit are players with good reputations.
I’m sure any of these would be great for Spurs and easily replace many of the current lot we have now. But the question is also that we need to find new homes for whom we have if we bring in new guys. On their current form and performances, we’re only going to get a fraction of what they’re actually worth – if anyone is interested. Unless Conte is also prepared to get this forgotten bunch up to their real talent standard again. So it’s both a short term fix to get in new lads for the current games as well as a work-in-progress with some of the current squad, if they have the quality and determination to stay.

Any or all of these players would be a great addition.If we are to get Conte and Levy still has time to screw this up,we will get the manager we want.This squad needs his style and fire and if they dont like it then they must go.Spurs fans are fed up with some of them while the rest show the right qualities to become even better under a proven winning manager.
DeLigt,Brozovic,Coutinho,VandeBeek and Vlaovic and sell that waste of space Doherty as well as Bergwyn .
Also if it is possible put a saucy bid for Rudiger or any tall central defender
